Job Description – Value Stream Lead (COO) | Mexico (Americas)
Role date: 10 Dec 2025 | Grade: 04 | Location/Function: COO / Mexico / Americas
Reports to: (not specified in the document) | Committees: Value Stream (VS) Steering Committees
1) Role objective (Role purpose)
Operate across all Agile teams within the Value Stream (VS), actively driving business delivery across all aspects of change, ensuring alignment, pace, and sustainability to achieve OKRs.
2) Key responsibilities (Principal accountabilities)
- Drive and support Agile teams within the VS to deliver in an aligned, high-paced and sustainable way, achieving their OKRs.
- Ensure execution of the product vision: support Product Owners (POs) to prioritise and define the delivery construct for the VS.
- Support the detailed definition of the business case and cost estimates for business change.
- Lead the change delivery plan for go-to-market with Markets (including run-ahead activities, Change & Implementation, etc.).
- Identify, manage and proactively control delivery risks across the VS.
- Own the VS budget and financial management.
- Identify and manage dependencies with other VS / Enabler VS, resolving issues and creating options to keep delivery “at pace” and minimise escalations.
- Define VS resourcing, develop team capabilities, and manage potential resource hotspots.
- Deliver VS reporting, including OKR and QBR tracking/management, with an increasing focus on self-serve reporting.
- Lead vendor onboarding for the VS.
- Be accountable for change management approvals (adherence to the Change Framework, NFRs, Data Visa, Records Management, SOX, etc.).
- Support VS Business Risks and manage approvals via RMM, GRROC, etc.
- Ensure Business QA is aware of requirements and testing timelines, and that UAT timelines are committed.
3) Position requirements (Knowledge and experience)
Leadership and teamwork
- Proven experience leading teams: developing capability and managing performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Functional / technical expertise
- 8–10 years’ experience with Agile & Lean frameworks, Change Management Framework, and Project Management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Pioneer, Discover, GPDM, Clarity, HIBS, Jira, Confluence.
- Demonstrated track record in operations management, planning, or financial management roles.
- Proven experience with organisational governance (local and regional).
Additional requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in a large global organisation (ideally within Transformation, IT, or shared services).
- Experience working regionally across time zones/geographies and with remote teams.
- Highly self-motivated; able to work independently, under pressure, in fast-paced environments, and with multiple deadlines.
- Fluent English (C1)
