Role Purpose:
The LATAM Product Governance & Portfolio Administration Manager is responsible for leading GPS Product Governance across LATAM in alignment with the Financial Institution Model (FIM). This role oversees the GPS Contrato Único and its administration with CONDUSEF for RECA (Registro de Contratos de Adhesión), manages the Bonuses process, supports FAD (Firma Autógrafa Digital) activities, and administers the technology investment portfolio from the GPS business score.

The position ensures compliance, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across all assigned areas, working closely with Risk Stewards and cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. LATAM Product Governance

◦ Lead product governance activities for LATAM, ensuring alignment with FIM.

◦ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement governance best practices.

◦ Monitor product performance, risks, and regulatory changes impacting LATAM products.

2. Contrato Único Administration & CONDUSEF Compliance

◦ Manage and maintain the contract framework with CONDUSEF.

◦ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely reporting.

◦ Oversee product changes and clause compliance.

◦ Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to address issues or clause updates.

3. Bonuses Process Management

◦ Oversee the end-to-end bonuses process, including calculation, validation, and execution with Operations.

◦ Collaborate with Product teams to ensure accuracy and transparency.

◦ Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.

4. FAD (Firma Autógrafa Digital) Support

◦ Support FAD activities as required.

◦ Provide data, analysis, and reporting to facilitate the signature process with Implementation teams.

5. Technology Investment GPS Portfolio Administration

◦ Manage the administration of the technology investment portfolio for GPS.

◦ Track portfolio performance, budget allocation, and project progress.

◦ Support portfolio-related activities, including reporting and stakeholder communication.

6. Issue Tracking & Resolution

◦ Implement and maintain robust issue tracking for all operational and product-related matters.

◦ Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of issues in close collaboration with the product team.

◦ Communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.

7. Commercialization Activities

◦ Lead and support commercialization initiatives for GPS products and services.

◦ Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop go-to-market communication strategies.

◦ Monitor product trends to optimize product communication and offerings.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in product management, product governance, portfolio management, or similar roles.

• Experience working with Agile methodologies, HSBC Change Framework, and project management.

• Strong understanding of transparency regulations and HSBC product governance frameworks.

• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as CONDUSEF or Ombudsman offices.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.

• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting, including proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex product and contract data.

• Experience in process optimization and workflow automation.

• Ability to synthesize information and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

• Familiarity with risk assessment and issue tracking systems.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.

• Willingness and ability to support critical activities outside of standard working hours, as required by business needs or in response to urgent operational matters.

• Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is desirable.
