Job description

Role purpose

  • Carrying out thorough preparation and high-quality reviews of First Line of Defence (1LoD) controls
  • Maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders including keeping abreast of key business, regulatory and industry developments and any changes to procedures and practices
  • Supporting the preparation of monitoring plans and reviews for applicable business lines in sites
  • Supporting the preparation of consolidated MI on the results of monitoring, for senior managers in the Business
  • Supporting the Preparation of reports to inform key stakeholders of the outcome of monitoring and review work
  • Agree reports of monitoring and review work with the Monitoring Control Manager
  • Track and follow-up actions identified as a result of monitoring and review work and escalating when necessary
  • Reporting progress against plans to Monitoring Control Manager

Main activities

  • Understand the data and complete data definitions / requirements for Business Glossary
  • Provide a data lineage view to discover the data flow/movement from its source to destination via various changes.
  • To analyze and to implement risk strategy which includes:
  • To deliver definitions
  • To create requirements
  • To review the requirement with the specialist system team
  • To prepare the testing matrix and all the pre- requirements for the testing.
  • To give monitoring and issue solution after the go live.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Risk and/or Business-related matters is preferred.
  • Business skills with understanding of lending products from marketing, pricing and policy perspective and correlation with risk strategies definition is preferred.
  • Prior experience using SAS Base, Python is preferred.
