Role purpose: Lead the Investment and Savings Solutions (ISS) strategy across the entire International Wealth and Premier Banking spectrum, focusing on client management by assessing their specific needs through high-value investment products, services, and solutions. 

 

Main Responsibilities

  1. Accountable of developing and execute a comprehensive and profitable Investment strategy, coordinating the execution, distribution, operation and performance, enabling a correct asset allocation through competitive, cost-efficient, and digitally empowered wealth solutions.
  2. The role holder is responsible of the planning, design, definition, administration and governance of Investment and Savings products, services and solutions.
  3. Full responsibility of the Profit & Loss management of the business to maximize growth and achieve financial plan and metrics.
  4. Act as the Subject Matter Expert of this business.
  5. In delivering the business objectives and service excellence, the role holder needs to maintain the highest levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, comply with the regulatory requirements, financial crime, governance, proper operations and risk controls.
  6. Lead specific Investments & Savings projects according to customer’s needs and business strategy.
  7. Provide leadership and oversight to the investment teams to meet client’s needs and business objectives.
  8. Responsible of leading the Communication strategy for launch, penetrations and adoption of products and services including internal and customer communications, Webinars, events, Front office trainings and support materials; as well as defining and executing product’s campaigns
  9. Contribute to key stakeholders and Sr. Management with ideas and analysis for decision making and boost business growth
  10. Close collaboration with several IWPB stakeholders: Asset Management, Distribution, Wealth teams, Value Proposition and support areas such as Finance, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, etc… 

 

Requirements

  • Background in Finance, Economics, Administration, or related areas (master’s degree desirable)
  • Robust knowledge in Financial, accounting, economics fields.
  • Previous experience in Banking Industry 
  • Deep knowledge of Wealth management business: products, services, operations, systems, regulation, competitors
  • Wide view on how to work with Compliance, Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • Proven experience in guiding the strategy of a business with outstanding outcomes and profitable results
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams
  • Advanced English
  • Leadership and effective communication
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentations
  • Managing Sr Stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • AMIB 3 Certification desirable
