Role purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager to lead regulatory, audit, product owner and analytical responsibilities for key banking and financial service of "Payroll Switching". The successful candidate will act as a liaison between business team and internal & external stakeholders (2oLD, IT, Risk, Ops, Analytics, other banks, among others) and responsible for ensuring full alignment with regulatory requirements, audit standards, and continuous product improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of AGILE methodology, and experience in database and analytics tools.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Apply AGILE practices to manage backlog, prioritize tasks, and lead sprint planning for commercial strategy, regulatory or audit related improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional agile squads as a product owner
  • Preparation of documentation for request for estimate (PBL, Estimated level 0, Business case, etc…)
  • Development, monitoring and project management for IT and Non-IT
  • Represent customers’ needs in the Agile team operating
  • Order team backlog based on PI objectives to identify what Team works on next
  • Define / accountable for scope, order, user story acceptance, value and definition of ready and definition of done of each story
  • Groom Team backlog - create new, remove irrelevant stories, re-assess relative priority, revisit story point estimation
  • Ensure Product Backlog is visible & understood by team engineers to the level needed
  • Ensure product complies with relevant regulatory and governance requirements
  • Ensure product meets operational risk requirements, NFR requirements and business requirements for market implementation & adoption
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure products operate effectively and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives enhancements and issue resolution.

Requeriments:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering in Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in product owner management, regulatory compliance, audit management, or product operations.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., local financial authorities).
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external audits.
  • Knowledge of AGILE methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics and database tools: SAS, SQL, Python.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
