Purpose of the role
As a Mid Level Content Designer, you will be the responsible of the narrative and clarity of all our ecosystem. You will design digital journeys, information architectures, research strategies and content systems to transform complex financial processes into intuitive, clear and human experiences. For this purpose, you’ll be able to collaborate with UX Designers, researchers, product managers and other internal and external stakeholders to find achieve business goals and top-notch usability.
Main Activities
- Content strategy: Create end-to-end user journeys maintaining our voice, tone and narrative strategy according to our guidelines while protecting consistency across financial products and markets. This requires collaborating with stakeholders, completing approvals with Global Design teams, and meeting key financial objectives.
- Linguistic excellence & creativity: Ensure an impeccable standard of grammar, syntax, and creativity. You’ll bring a creative edge to the journeys, finding innovative ways to solve technical hurdles with elegance, wit and craftsmanship.
- Evidence-Based Design: Use different testing methods (ex. A/B Testing, interviews, surveys, etc.), metrics and research findings for your content decisions and iterations.
- Business-aligned design: Validate content decisions through data and metrics to drive organizational objectives.
- Simplifying Complexity: Adapt technical and legal concepts into human, actional language making sure it is aligned with regulatory compliance and security.
- Documentation: Standardize and maintain comprehensive documentation across Confluence, Jira, etc., to align cross-functional requirements for Legal, Compliance, IT and Global Design teams.
- Research: Conduct user research strategies, focused on design and content, to ensure usability, clarity, and effectiveness of the proposed designs.
- Content localization: Oversee the end-to-end localization process, balancing nuanced local market requirements with adherence to global UX writing standards and brand voice.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with UX researchers, designers, and product managers to align data insights with product goals. Present findings to stakeholders and provide strategic proposals for product and design improvements.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior content designers and other teams across the institution. Lead content-driven projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with the broader product strategy.
Requeriments:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, literature, communication, or any related field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- 3-5 years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, Content strategy, customer experience or a similar area.
- Impeccable grammar, syntax, and content creation and edition.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch or any other design tool.
- Previous banking business knowledge.
- Strong creativity background, with experience in content creation, voice and tone.
- Deep understanding of customer behaviour and experience translating customer experience research data into clear, human content design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and technical issues into clear content strategy and recommendations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience working independently in content design projects or initiatives.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively create features and design plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork skills to collaborate with business, IT, marketing and design professionals.
- Performance under pressure and open mindset for alternate ideas .
