Process Transformation Associate – Americas Finance

Role purpose

The Process Transformation Associate supports the Americas Finance Strategy Execution and Change agenda by identifying and delivering high-impact automation, simplification, and process re-engineering opportunities that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the day-to-day experience for Finance teams.

This role is an individual contributor on the Innovation and Applied AI team and will work through strong partnership and influence – coaching citizen developers and collaborating with technical SMEs and program teams to deliver sustainable change at pace.

Main activities:

  • Map and improve processes: Run workshops/interviews to understand the current state, capture pain points and controls, and create clear end-to-end process maps (Visio).
  • Design better ways of working: Use design thinking to shape future-state processes that are simpler, more standardised, and improve colleague experience.
  • Spot and define automation opportunities: Turn process insights into clear requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, data needs, control requirements).
  • Deliver through Agile: Manage work in Jira (epics/stories, backlog, sprints, RAID), track progress and benefits, and escalate risks early with mitigation plans.
  • Engage stakeholders and communicate clearly: Build strong relationships across Finance and partner teams, translating complex topics into practical decisions and actions.
  • Enable others: Coach citizen developers with templates, standards, and “how-to” support to raise capability and encourage reuse.
  • Build and support automation: Provide hands-on delivery and troubleshooting mainly in Alteryx, support applied AI experimentation where appropriate, and grow capability over time (including learning Python).
  • Support BAU continuity: Provide backup support outside India GSC hours with strong handovers, runbooks, monitoring, and issue triage.
  • Embed “controls by design”: Ensure solutions meet governance expectations—testing evidence, access management, audit trails, monitoring, incident management, and clear post–go-live ownership/change control.

Requirements

  • Essential
    • Experience in process mapping and process re-engineering (end-to-end, controls-aware).
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including workshop facilitation and driving alignment.
    • Proven delivery management using Agile ways of working and Jira (or equivalent), with solid delivery discipline.
    • Advanced PowerPoint skills—able to produce clear, executive-ready packs.
    • Proficient in Visio for process mapping and documentation.
    • Hands-on Alteryx experience (build/enhance workflows, troubleshoot, and document solutions).
    • Strong English and Spanish communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Exposure to automation/AI use case development, rapid prototyping, and/or data readiness assessment.

Desirable

    • Power BI (or similar) for dashboards and tracking performance/benefits/operational health.
    • Power Automate or other workflow/orchestration tools.
    • Interest and aptitude to learn Python for automation and analytics.

Personal attributes

    • Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
    • Practical and outcomes-focused—balances innovation with delivery rigour.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities while keeping structure and momentum.
    • Collaborative and inclusive; values different perspectives and builds shared ownership.
    • Takes responsibility for quality, controls, and sustainable outcomes.
