Financial Reporting Transformation Manager
Role purpose
The purpose for the Financial Reporting Transformation Manager is to execute agreed priorities on imporvements on process and automation for financial and regulatory reporting across US and Latin America. Become expert in the operational process of the construction of each report to detect improvement opportunities in terms of eliminating manual adjustments, optimizing processing times both for run time Steps and non runtime steps , understanding the need of EUCs and deploying strategies to demise as possible and automating feeds that will ensure process run for HSBC Platforms, also document and embed controls to secure approvals from stakeholders.
This role helps HSBC to ensure regulatory expectations across Americas through accurate reporting, well controlled process and timely delivery.
Functions and Activities:
- Perform the analysis of the Reporting Operations processes
- Automate, follow the plan and priorities to execute the reporting improvements detected in the diagnostics of the operational processes
- Execute waves for improvement deliveries and timeline to comply.
- Develop workflows in Alteryx/Python for improving processes efficiency.
- Manage projects in accordance with Group Standards. They may be required to manage multiple projects involving interaction with several business areas
- Participation on all Financial Crime Detection forums representing ROA to understand and highlight needs or impacts on the processes.
- Drive collaboration with cross border teams.
Requirements:
- Desirable bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Actuary, Engineering or Economic Areas.
- Data management and strong analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical and non-technical projects
- Financial and Regulatory Reports or banking knowledge.
- 5+ years of experience in processes improvement and automation.
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Knowledge on Alteryx, Python, SQL, Qlik view.
