What you will do
Global Trade Solutions (GTS) comprises 4,500+ colleagues across 50+ countries, supporting suppliers and buyers with export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe and Asia.
The purpose of this role is to lead the successful end-to-end implementation of Global Trade Solutions deals, including onboarding of complex deals across the GTS product suite for clients located across European geographies. You’ll drive delivery from client kick-off through funding, including scoping and Statement of Work creation, using proven methodologies to deliver a high-quality client experience while accelerating revenue realisation for the bank.
In this role you will
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Structured Finance deals and selected Core Trade products
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Technology and Services, providing implementation consultancy to clients
- Manage project delivery and technical onboarding, including UAT and PVT testing to complete programme set-up successfully
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across GTS Frontline/Structuring, Coverage (including senior management), IT, Change Delivery, Service Delivery, and global functions (e.g., Risk, Finance)
- Drive cross-business collaboration to ensure strategy alignment, improve efficiency, and share best practices with appropriate senior escalation
- Project manage multiple deals/programmes concurrently, acting as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute implementation plans using structured project management methodologies; guide clients on responsibilities and tasks within the plan
- Host and attend regular client meetings to track progress, provide accurate status updates, and escalate risks/issues impacting client experience
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities; take ownership of initiatives that improve delivery and client outcomes
- Adapt and prioritise effectively across multiple stakeholders and competing demands, maintaining open and transparent communication with Sales, Product and Coverage
You should apply if you have
- Knowledge of Core Trade solutions, with experience in Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance
- Demonstrated project management experience, ideally with complex multi-stakeholder deliveries
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Operations, Technology and Client Service, including at senior client level
- Proven ability to support complex global corporates and multi-million-dollar programmes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach and consistent delivery on time and to quality
- Understanding of Working Capital Management concepts and Open Account/Supply Chain/Receivables propositions and business models
- Confidence working in a cross-functional, matrix organisation across international markets and culturally diverse teams
- Ability to manage (or contribute meaningfully to) discussions on relevant legal frameworks for Open Account structures
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- French and English language skills (preferred)
