In this role you will:
- Assist in the identification of risks, their regular assessment and the maintenance of an effective control system
- Contribute to the updating of risk maps and controls of all GTS France activities, by providing methodological support and an assessment of risk levels
- Facilitate and support management decision-making based on available information, analytical reviews, stakeholder input and HSBC strategy
- Write inspection reports highlighting possible malfunctions and their causes in order to formulate appropriate recommendations
- Verify the implementation of the recommendations made by any control body (2nd level controls, Internal Audit, Regulators, Auditors)
- Participate in risk management forums and committees
- Participate in the design and monitoring of internal governance activities
You should apply if you have:
- In-depth knowledge of Trade and/or other commercial banking products, or proven experience in an Internal Control function.
- Ability to identify key controls to mitigate risks in sometimes complex environments.
- Ability to understand and identify any exceptional situation likely to create risk.
- Good understanding of international trade and import/export business processes
- Professional qualification related to risk management, e.g. International Certificate/Diploma in Business Risk Management
- Experience in Internal Control, Master degree of audit techniques
- Strategic thinking and good level of business awareness
- Capacity for dialogue, strength of conviction and persistence
- Ability to analyze and synthesize, rigor, sense of organization
- Ability to scale in a fast-growing and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Fluency in English
