Being part of HSBC in France, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. You will join Global Network Banking France, which manages the French subsidiaries, as well as some European subsidiaries, of HSBC’s international Corporate clients. The team develops dedicated expertise for this international client base to support client relationships and drive revenue growth in line with the Group’s international strategy.

What you will do:

 

As a Corporate Relationship Manager, you will manage and develop relationships with international Corporate clients and their subsidiaries. You will identify business opportunities, coordinate client needs with global and product teams, and contribute to revenue growth while ensuring appropriate management of credit, compliance and operational risks.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Convert new client onboarding opportunities in line with Group and HSBC Continental Europe standards for the French subsidiaries of the Group’s international Corporate clients.
  • Manage, retain and develop client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow Net Banking Income (NBI) and support clients’ evolving needs.
  • Identify client needs and coordinate with relevant product teams, including Transaction Banking and Markets.
  • Coordinate client needs in France with Global Relationship Bankers (GRBs) responsible for the relationship with the parent company.
  • Monitor and manage risks, including the set-up and renewal of credit facilities, overdrafts, commitments, watchlist and anti-money laundering requirements.
  • Apply HSBC internal control standards, including implementing internal and external checks, addressing matters raised by regulators, and maintaining knowledge of operational risk scenarios, KYC requirements and relevant Group procedures.

 

You should apply if you have:

 

  • Good commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset, with an interest in business development and delivering high-quality service to Corporate clients.
  • Good organisational skills, autonomy and the ability to collaborate effectively and build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills, with a rigorous approach to risk and compliance.
  • Knowledge of banking and financial products and services for Corporate clients, including payments, cash management, trade, credit facilities and FX hedging solutions.
  • The ability to understand and manage Global Standards, credit, legal and tax risks associated with Corporate clients in an international environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Previous exposure to Corporate Relationship Management or Deputy Relationship Management would be an advantage.
