What you will do:
As a Quantitative Developer you will develop mathematical models and analytical tools used by the FX, Fixed Income, Credit, desks at HSBC
In this role you will require:
- The development of the underlying mathematical models and analytical tools used by the FX, Fixed Income, Credit, desks at HSBC
- The integration of these models into the grid computing layer
- To design, develop, test and document the grid computing workflows
- To contribute to the global refactoring and cleaning of the library
- To develop technical solutions for the desk as required
- To provide rapid fixes to any issues identified in the models
- To improve the coding quality and testing environment
You should apply if you have:
- 10-12 years working as a Quantitative Developer developing and integrating models in quantitative finance, IT development, or a trading environment
- A degree in Information Technologies, mathematical finance, science or maths from a top tier university
- Knowledge of the standard pricing models used in the investment banking industry
- C++ experience (preferably using Visual Studio 2022 or later versions)
- Knowledge of distributed computing and serialisation techniques preferred.
- Python experience preferred
