At HSBC, our purpose is opening up a world of opportunity and by joining our team, you can be part of something bigger! We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring careers at HSBC are inclusive and accessible.

What you will do:

Corporate Sales sits within HSBC Markets & Securities Services and serves corporate clients. You’ll build trusted client relationships, deliver client-relevant products and market insight, and grow product penetration and share of wallet. Your focus will be to develop revenue and profitability for your portfolio while improving service efficiency, including increased use of e-capability.

In this role you will:

  • Identify sales opportunities that address client needs and manage them from origination to execution and through the post-trade process.

  • Service a portfolio of Corporates clients.

  • Manage and develop relationships with transactional clients, including those serviced via e-platforms for flow business.

  • Provide day-to-day sales coverage using the full suite of Corporate Sales offerings, partnering closely with trading teams to manage transaction flow from order to execution.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Relationship Managers,  GPS, GTRF, and CRS where needed) to deliver solutions, improve share of wallet and originate cross-sell opportunities.

  • Drive efficiency and profitability by championing adoption of relevant service offerings (e.g., migrating transactional business to self-service e-capability) and supporting process changes as technology platforms evolve.

You should apply if you have:

  • Strong understanding of Corporate Sales (products, clients, systems and key processes) and the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.

  • Good understanding of Capital Markets, including FX instruments (Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards), interest rate derivatives and investment products.

  • A client-focused mindset with proven ability to build trusted relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, with a disciplined approach to controls, documentation (e.g., disclaimers/suitability where applicable) and operating within regulatory and policy requirements.

  • Relevant exams/qualifications to satisfy local and any cross-border market regulations for non-advisory sales and trading activities (where applicable).

  • A proactive, improvement-oriented approach—comfortable driving adoption of digital/e-platform capabilities and supporting change in processes and ways of working.

Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply, if you believe this role is right for you.
