This position is based within the Global Payments solutions (GPS) team. Within the HSBC Group, the GPS department is a global business line and a priority in the development of relationships with companies and financial institutions.

The activity of the GPS department is focused on the management of the flows of our corporate and institutional clients.

Its field of expertise extends from the centralization of flows to their automation and security at the local, regional and global levels. GPS has dedicated teams on products, sales, customer service.

 

What you will do:
You will operate on a wide range of tasks and actions, which include, among others, forecast, planning, workforce management (including service providers and Third Parties) or budget management.


In this role, you will take on several responsibilities:

  • Support the EXCO GPS in the implementation of the strategy.
  • Manage internal and external events
  • Manage the planning and annual approvals of FTEs (including onshore, offshore, interim, request for consultants, etc.) and manage the budget
  • Manage direct and indirect costs
  • Manage the budgets for the use of consultants (invoicing, approvals, MI reports, monthly follow-up of required certifications)
  • Supervise and manage all referencing activities of service providers (internal and external) ensuring compliance with HSBC Group policies and procedures
  • Oversee the Business Continuity Plan, the update
  • Be proactive in documenting, simplifying and, where possible, automating certain processes, and contribute to the improvement of our internal controls
  • Manage documentation (record management) to ensure that the actions implemented comply with HSBC's policies and processes
  • Assist senior management on ad-hoc tasks such as the consolidation of Executive Papers or various cross-function/business coordination missions, including administrative tasks
  • Monitor the completion of mandatory training, annual evaluations, definition of objectives and regularly produce the associated monitoring tables.
  • Provide support for the GPS CE strategy and its associated approach as required, ensuring timely input and alignment with agreed priorities



Apply if you feel you are in line with these skills:

  • University degree (business, management, finance, business school, or equivalent) with a background in business administration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in French and English.
  • Computer skills on Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power PDF, ease of use of new systems and software
  • Ability to reprioritize in a very short period of time by demonstrating patience and adaptability
  • Understanding of relevant administrative systems and processes (procurement, expenses, travel...)
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, at any level of the organization
  • Ability to understand the complex processes of a multinational banking organization
