We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

  • Act as Business Analyst to lead discovery to clarify business outcomes, scope, constraints, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. Experience with Banking operations and/or operation workflow is preferred
  • Deliver Banking Document Composition POD enhancements and BAU changes with a focus on stability, performance, and predictable delivery.
  • Drive the restfull API project deployment and reducing legacy dependencies.
  • Build and maintain Python automation/tooling to accelerate defect triage, customer impact tracing, and regression support.
  • Lead FF production support, ensuring service availability and operational excellence with zero major incidents.
  • Improve incident management by implementing automation for minute-level failure pinpointing and faster restoration.
  • Implement analytics and operational controls across 1,000+ jobs, including maintenance-window governance and proactive monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineers, ops, and stakeholders to prioritise fixes, manage risk, and continuously improve run-the-bank processes.

 

Requirements

  • Experienced OpenText Exstream design knowledge, strong Java development experience will be the plus.
  • Proven production support/incident management capability; able to drive RCA and prevent recurrence.
  • Automation/scripting skills (Python preferred) to improve ops efficiency.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability and improving MTTR/stability.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and teamwork in an Agile/POD setup.
