We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Responsible for the delivery of Business Credit Office (BCO) tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs
  • Responsible for coordinating between stakeholders to ensure completion of tasks e.g. (but not limited to) credit monitoring and credit maintenance, documents review & submission, limit loading & drawdown
  • Engagement with customers where required
  • Manage the timely updates to bank systems and records for e.g. covenant
  • Support the BCO Manager, Analyst and Team Leads on the management of the end-to-end customer credit & capital management journey ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support the execution of business initiatives and drive continuous improvement, ensuring fair customer treatment and delivery of customer satisfaction
  • Actively participate in training sessions to continue to develop credit skills, product knowledge, industry knowledge and client management skills.
  • Ensure the consistent application of HSBC policies and adherence to regulatory, financial, and legal standards to minimize business and reputational risks 
  • Manage regulatory and reputational risk within own responsibility and ensure adherence to regulatory risk frameworks and adherence to all published policies & procedures

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field will be preferred
  • Corporate lending experience with strong analytical skills and sound credit knowledge
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive alignment among senior leaders
  • Clear understanding of the Group credit risk principles, policies and statutory compliances
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
