HSBC Private Banking helps high net worth and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients manage to grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. As Head of Ultra High Net Worth Solutions Group for the Americas you’ll shape differentiated solutions set for sophisticated UHNW clients and Family Offices across public and private markets. Reporting to the Global Head of UHNW Solutions Group, you’ll bring institutional-level coverage and product capabilities into a private banking environment. You’ll partner across HSBC to deliver tailored content spanning but not limited to Direct Investments, Private Credit, Global Custody, Institutionalized Family Office and Strategic Equity Financing. Success means strengthening HSBC’s strategic dialogue with clients through coordinated coverage and delivering non-traditional private banking solutions that meet complex owner and principal needs. You’ll also help develop the Americas platform in close collaboration with product teams, business functions and second line of defense partners to align with global priorities.

As our Head of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Solutions Group, Americas you will:

  • Shape the strategic development of the UHNW public and private solutions set across the Americas
  • Be a partner across HSBC to deliver tailored content through Direct Investments, Private Credit, Global Custody, Institutionalized Family Office and Strategic Equity Financing
  • Coordinate joint coverage with relationship managers and investment councilors to support HSBC’s strategic client dialogue
  • Collaborate with Capital Market Advisory, Institutional Client Group and Innovation Banking to identify and deliver CIB (Corporate and Institutional Banking) products and services
  • Market, steer and deliver the bespoke solutions set internally and externally to relationship managers and clients focused on institutional-quality coverage for sophisticated UHNWI and Family Offices
  • Develop the Americas platform with local Wealth and Premier Solutions product teams and Second Line of Defense functions to take the propositions live
  • Work closely with global UHNW Solutions teams to leverage the experience and knowledge to achieve the global consistency and alignment

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Bring strong capital markets domain knowledge ideally from a Global Markets or Investment Bank environment
  • Demonstrate client-facing delivery experience with exposure to UHNW clients and Family Offices beneficial
  • Show proven cross-functional collaboration aligning stakeholders across multiple business lines
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly translating complex investment and product topics for different audiences
  • Bring strong interest in Private Banking and Wealth and the end-to-end investment process
  • Offer relevant experience in a similar role with familiarity in Global Markets, Investment Bank or Asset Management in alternatives
  • Apply high proficiency with front-end platforms and IT systems with a solid understanding of market mechanics
  • Demonstrate execution and prioritization to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Apply compliance and risk awareness with working knowledge of regulatory requirements and ongoing product adherence
  • Use analytical problem-solving to diagnose issues using data and stakeholder input and implement solutions
  • Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65) required.

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
