Join our Technology team in Kraków as an IT Service Owner. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end ownership, stability, governance and continual improvement of IT services supporting the business. Working across operational teams, technology specialists, risk and control functions, cyber security and senior stakeholders, you’ll help ensure services are resilient, compliant and ready to meet changing business needs.
This is a permanent, full-time Specialist role based at Kapelanka 42a, with two days a week working from the office.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end delivery, support, performance and continual improvement of assigned applications, services and infrastructure.
- Ensure services operate in line with ITIL service lifecycle practices, including strategy, design, transition, operation and continual service improvement.
- Maintain effective governance and compliance with IT controls, FIM requirements and relevant Technology processes.
- Plan proactively for service requirements, including technology refreshes, capacity upgrades, vulnerability management, demand changes and business growth.
- Coordinate the delivery and maintenance of IT control activities, securing the necessary resources and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Act as the main contact and escalation point for stakeholders and Technology teams regarding assigned services.
- Maintain audit and risk readiness by providing timely evidence, addressing findings and improving controls to prevent repeat issues.
- Own service resilience and operational stability, including backup and restore, disaster recovery testing, major incident coordination, change readiness and project delivery.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- At least five years of experience in IT Service Management, infrastructure or software support, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies, particularly Service Level Management, Service Continuity, Information Security Management and Change Management.
- A good understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, risk management and issue management.
- Demonstrable experience managing IT controls such as access, change, vulnerability and patching, logging, backup and disaster recovery, supported by KPI reporting.
- Strong experience working with complex processes, governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, lead discussions and present to senior leadership.
- Good knowledge of IT technologies and operational environments, with practical experience in Windows, Linux or databases such as Oracle.
- Strong written and spoken English, a collaborative approach, a proactive can-do attitude and the ability to work independently while adapting to change.
