We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Management Reporting.

 

Purpose of the role:

This role is to support Asia from Finance Operations Process. Ensure accuracy of financials, provide meaning full insights to leadership on timely basis and guiding regional teams on various matters.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Efficiently conduct financials review and ensure accuracy.
  • Provide meaningful insights to finance team.
  • Evaluate and Work on Direct Cost early view and provide first sight of commentary.
  • Provide transparency of Charges and ensure accuracy of billing feeds.
  • Coordinate and engage effectively with group and regional teams
  • Work and collaborate closely with COO teams, business partnering teams and provide ad hoc support wherever required.
  • Ensure timely submission of qualitative commentary, walk movements to external reporting team.
  • Effectively perform Under/over recovery analysis and pursue correcting actions.
  • Review of AOP, Budget and Forecast numbers and challenge COO in case of any anomalies.

 

To be successful you will:

  • Experience in accounting / financial or management reporting role.
  • Understanding of control frameworks and how to implement effective controls in practice.
  • Ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems and queries and to question and challenge existing procedures.
  • Good understanding of financial products and how they impact reporting requirement, and more generically the banking business, balance sheet and P&L.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority and geographical location.
  • Understanding and interest in how new technology may be leveraged to improve reporting processes and controls.
  • Proficient in excel, SharePoint. Knowledge on Xceptor and other Finance automation tools would be good to have.
  • Qualified Accountant / Graduate / Post Graduate in Finance with 10+ years of experience in Business Performance preferably with Reporting, Accounting & Financial Control background.
