Principal responsibilities

The scope covers third party management activities within IT COO. It includes, providing inputs for strategy formulation, managing projects within Third Party space, vendor governance, reporting and analytics, change management and transformation.

  • Represent Technology Center China for Vendor Management & Governance of 82 active vendors
  • Responsible for Third Party Risk Assessment in OneTPM which entails completion of assessment and tasks in OneTPM with reference to performance assessment
  • Responsible for Supporting Tail vendor Optimization Program in collaboration with Procurement
  • Be part of an overall team to review and maintain Fixed Price, T&M, T&M SoW, Hardware, Software engagements
  • Responsible for tracking of GB/GF concerns and escalations with issue resolution.
  • Implement and maintain vendor performance dashboard, ensure vendor partners understands and aligned to the measurements given
  • Lead and execute Global and Regional strategic initiatives, including ODC management
  • Manage team / resources to ensure TPEM activities are carried out with quality and timeliness
  • Prepare and Host Business Reviews representing HTC with Vendor Partners, ensuring actions are executed with expected results

Requirements

  • Vendor strategy & portfolio view: Designs portfolio strategy; optimises vendor mix and dependency
  • Deal initiation & business case / assurance: Leads complex selections; balances cost, risk, resilience, and capability
  • Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting: Drives cost optimisation; benchmarks and value realisation
  • Procurement partnering & sourcing interface: Orchestrates multi-party alignment; sponsors strategic partnerships
  • Contracting & commercial management, Negotiation & deal structuring: Leads negotiations; structures commercials (SLAs, incentives, credits)
  • Approvals & execution governance (ITCM/TPS/PSR/PO): Improves governance design; clarifies RACI and decision rights
  • Vendor performance management (KPIs/SLAs/SIPs): Designs KPI frameworks; drives continuous improvement plans
  • Vendor governance forums & cadence: Builds executive relationships; influences priorities and outcomes
  • Risk management (TPRM interface, TPEM completion): Leads major incident governance; drives root-cause and prevention
  • VMO / practice building (process, templates, guidance): Sets MI strategy; drives automation and insight-led governance
  • Tooling strategy (VM tooling): Designs process automation; integrates tooling across functions
  • Community leadership & communications: Sets tooling roadmap; drives standardisation and scale benefits
  • Transition/exit management: Defines exit strategy; executes high-risk exits with minimal disruption
  • People leadership: Coaches peers; shares templates and good practice
