We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Marketing Manager, Customer Propositions.

 

In this role you will: 

  • Develop and deliver proposition marketing strategy for commercialization, setting clear objectives and plans to deepen relationships and drive growth across Mass Affluent and Mass segments, including both local and non-residential Chinese customers.
  • Lead end-to-end portfolio growth campaign planning and execution across channels (targeted communications, owned/digital, social media, etc), ensuring activity is on-brand, insight-led, delivered to schedule, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to shape briefs, align dependencies, resolve issues quickly, and ensure consistent delivery across journeys and touchpoints.
  • Use customer insights and performance analytics to optimise effectiveness, including refining segmentation, targeting, messaging, creative, channel mix and measurement; convert learnings into repeatable best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to maintain proposition relevance and competitiveness; identify opportunities/risks and recommend practical actions on messaging, offers, positioning and channel approach.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring disciplined forecasting and spend control, efficient resource deployment, and demonstrable ROI through robust tracking and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Maintain governance, brand and compliance standards, following established marketing processes, policies and approval workflows, and ensuring all communications meet local and cross-border requirements while upholding HSBC brand values.
  • Provide operational and administrative support (reporting, coordination, documentation/housekeeping and team support) to keep execution smooth, stakeholders informed, and the team operating efficiently.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • University graduate in business studies or marketing is preferred. 
  • 5+ years in marketing and brand management, with good understanding of banking products preferred.  
  • Proficient in direct marketing and advertising process.
  • Proven track record delivering measurable growth outcomes (acquisition, engagement, conversion and/or brand metrics), with customer centricity in heart and good commercial sense.  
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills, fluency in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English.
  • A team player and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
