Responsibilities: 

  • Champion the in-house creative vision, ensuring work is distinctive, meaningful, and aligned to HSBC’s brand and strategic priorities
  • Lead creative direction to translate complex financial propositions into clear, compelling creative ideas that resonate across channels and audiences
  • Drive experimentation with new formats and platforms to keep HSBC’s creative output current and competitive
  • Bring external inspiration and best practice into the team, raising ambition and creative standards
  • Present and defend creative recommendations with clear rationale grounded in customer insight and business context
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape clear, insight-led briefs and unlock creative ideas from concept to delivery
  • Apply internal and external insights / data points to inform creative direction and channel strategy to achieve business and brand outcomes
  • Embed agile and innovative ways of working and Martech to accelerate speed-to-market and creative impact

 

Requirements: 

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
  • Proven senior creative leadership experience in delivering integrated campaigns for premium brands, preferably financial services, with event and PR management skillset
  • Strong creative, strategic and conceptual thinking, with ability to turn business objectives and insights into clear creative direction and breakthrough ideas
  • Comfortable working at pace in agile environments, balancing multiple priorities under agreed timelines
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
