We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Alternatives Investor Relations Specialist.

 

In this role you will:

Client Communication and Reporting

  • Serve as a key point of contact for existing investors across the region, supporting a range of Alternative Investment strategies.
  • Prepare and distribute investor communications, including fund updates covering deployment, cash flows, fund extensions, performance drivers and other material developments.
  • Respond to investor inquiries with speed, accuracy and professionalism, coordinating with internal teams to deliver clear and timely outcomes.
  • Support client meetings, portfolio reviews and due diligence requests, including preparing materials, coordinating inputs and managing follow-up actions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ objectives and requirements to support a consistent, responsive and tailored client experience.

Data and Analytics

  • Monitor fund performance metrics and key portfolio developments, supporting the preparation of regular and ad hoc client reports.
  • Partner with Performance and Reporting, Operations and fund administrators to ensure the integrity, consistency and timely delivery of data.
  • Review client materials for accuracy and consistency before distribution.
  • Maintain robust audit trails and documentation standards for client deliverables and communications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with investment, operations, performance reporting, product, legal, AIFM and other relevant teams to ensure data integrity and consistent messaging.
  • Act as a coordination point across stakeholders, helping to reduce information silos and improve responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Hong Kong team to manage client priorities and deliver a consistent regional coverage model.
  • Build effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders across locations and time zones.
  • Support product development, client-experience initiatives—including portals and digital tools—and other business priorities as required.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team environment.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Experience in investor relations, client service or fundraising within Alternative Investments.
  • Experience across one or more Alternative Investment strategies, such as private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure or other private-market assets.
  • Experience in Direct Real Estate and/or Energy Transition Infrastructure would be desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Alternative Investments and the investor-servicing lifecycle, including reporting, liquidity, cash flows and fund dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to understanding client needs and coordinating with relevant teams to obtain information and resolve requests.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team and work effectively with stakeholders across functions, locations and time zones.
  • A self-starter who can operate independently when required while contributing actively to the wider Hong Kong and regional teams.
  • Confidence engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
