We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Trust Services

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Trust Finance Services’ function with end-to-end ownership of operational delivery.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and high-quality execution of daily payment processing while meeting all client and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive functional knowledge across all payment processes, act as the primary escalation point for complex operational and stakeholder issues,
  • Proactively identify priority items, delivery risks and resource constraints, and drive timely resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Maintain hands-on expertise to independently perform payment processing and execute transactions whenever required, ensuring seamless service delivery during peak volumes
  • Maintain the ability to perform payment processing and independent quality checks during critical situations, business continuity events or peak volumes
  • Own and strengthen the control framework across the function through effective governance and oversight.
  • Ensure all operational risks, control gaps and issues are proactively identified, mitigated and escalated appropriately.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities and implement preventive controls to minimize operational errors.
  • Lead audit engagements, regulatory reviews, internal control testing and remediation activities. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance discussions.

To be successful you will:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in Banking Operations with significant experience in Payments/Trust Operations/Cash Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large operational teams and managing end-to-end payment processes.
  • Strong understanding of payment lifecycle, operational risk, controls, reconciliations, investigations and exception management.
  • Experience managing audits, regulatory reviews and governance frameworks.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management across senior business and support functions.
  • Experience driving operational excellence, automation and process transformation initiatives. Strong governance, control and audit management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
