We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Innovation.

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead innovation and analytics initiatives across multiple regions by converting unclear business problems into well-defined projects with clear success measures.
  • Create analytical solutions that are reusable and scalable, and drive adoption of those solutions across markets.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable strategies and delivery plans that improve financial outcomes.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of analytical projects, including project design, data collection, database design, analysis, and clear communication of results to senior leaders.
  • Implement strong data management and data governance practices to improve data quality, control, and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and internal controls, including data security, anti-money laundering, operational risk, and audit requirements, and close audit actions with documented evidence.

To be successful you will: 

  • Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in analytics or innovation roles, with strong exposure to banking operations or financial services.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership by identifying high-value initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving collaboration across teams and regions.
  • Have strong programming capability in at least two of the following: Structured Query Language, Python, Statistical Analysis System, R, or Java.
  • Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and large-scale data environments, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Hadoop-based ecosystems.
  • Show experience managing the full lifecycle of analytical models, including development, deployment, ongoing monitoring, and recalibration, and or delivering executive reporting and dashboards.
  • Communicate complex analytical topics clearly to different audiences, with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
