We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Data and Analytics.
In this role, you will:
- Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on a functional area, conceptualise analytical solution for the business problem at hand for multiple businesses/region
- Lead/mentor a team of individuals to provide analytical and strategic solutions to business with clear articulation of recommendations
- Being part of the Fraud Analytics team the candidate needs to deliver and deploy suit of Fraud controls across markets by designing Fraud and Risk typologies and building Anomaly detection models ,rules and graph network solutions .The candidate needs to work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams to drive the solutions to implementation. The candidate should exhibit
- Proven expertise in using statistical / Machine Learning algorithms for solving diverse business challenges and creating significant business value
- Knowledge and exposure to cloud analytics platform such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure etc. will be preferred
- Prior hands-on experience in Banking domain and Fraud/Financial Crime tools and platforms will be preferred
To be successful you will:
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex business problems using data. Ability to convert business problem to an analytical problem.
- Bachelors/ Masters degree from reputed university in statistics, economics or any other quantitative field.
- Good foundation on programming skills (R, Python, SAS, Structured Query Language (SQL), Cloud Technologies or other equivalent analytical tools)
- Strong data handing skillset. Ability to visualize datasets and tell a story through data.
- Experience with Looker, Qliksense, Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Minimum 7 years of experience of using statistical concepts and (or) machine learning models to solve complex business problems
- Good knowledge of programming tools, preferably with proficiency in any one or combination of tools such as SAS, Structured Query Language (SQL), Big query, Python
