We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve project delivery issues.
• Present, develop, and apply program fixes for application defects.
• Lead solution design for reusability and maintainability.
• Break down system functions into multi-tier API layers and microservices.
• Provide accurate estimates and status updates to management.
• Ensure high-quality development through robust unit testing and defect management.
• Provide on-call support for application incidents, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements

• 3-5 years development experience in Experience with HTTP/RESTful APIs and JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, Vue.js).
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring, RESTful services, Spring Boot, and microservice architectures.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (DB2, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Strong experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven).
• Good understanding of messaging services (IBM MQ, Kafka).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and design thinking.
