We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Design and manage secure, scalable GCP/AliCloud/HSBC on-prem infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with application teams to understand constraints, assumptions, and requirements related to HSBC environments and third-party products (e.g., CDC, Kafka, NiFi).
• Participate in system monitoring, basic performance tuning, and incident resolution.
• Support deployments and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate problem resolution with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
• Proficient in cloud services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Cloud Build).
• Strong Linux skills and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Basic monitoring and logging experience (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Clear communicator; able to collaborate across teams.
• Adaptability to evolving cloud and DevOps practices.
