We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Own portfolio budget/funding plan and maintain a single source of truth for assumptions and phasing.
- Track actuals vs forecast, burn rate, cost-to-complete; investigate variances and drive corrective actions.
- Run regular portfolio cost governance (approvals, tolerance checks, audit-ready documentation).
- Support business cases / investment requests with robust cost estimates and scenarios.
- Produce executive reporting and insights on funding status, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Partner with Project/Programme Managers, Finance, PMO and senior stakeholders to align funding with delivery milestones and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in project portfolio financial management (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) in a change/technology delivery environment.
- 5+ years’ experience in portfolio/PMO/finance partnering roles supporting multiple projects/programmes, with hands-on ownership of budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong Excel/financial modelling; reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and PPM tooling (e.g., Clarity/Jira) preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication; comfortable challenging assumptions.
- Detail-oriented with strong controls mindset; able to work to deadlines across competing priorities.
