We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CTO Data Technology
Principal responsibilities：
Change Management
• Managing the change queue by efficiently overseeing the flow of changes, ensuring they are executed effectively and aligned with organizational goals.
• Facilitating Change Advisory Boards (CABs) to review and make informed decisions on change requests, playing a crucial role in the decision-making process.
• Prioritizing changes by Aligning changes with business objectives to ensure they add value, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in balancing various factors.
Incident Management:
• Oversee incident response processes, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and minimizing downtime. Conduct post-mortem analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Monitoring and Alerting:
• Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues, ensuring system health and availability.
Compliance and Data Controls:
• Ensure compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements.
• Implement technical currency in line with published standards and guidelines.
• Translate work requirements into development activities across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on engineering practices and governance.
• Certified Google Cloud Architect or equivalent certificates in other cloud vendors is an added advantage
• CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) certification is an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise in agile methodology.
• Strong expertise in ETL Technologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Understanding of Terraform script, Shell script
• Strong knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible).
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS).
• Experience with network infrastructure, databases, cloud, and data center operations.
• Understanding of Google Cloud and other cloud services.
• Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL)
• Good English communication is must.
