Principal responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and gather information from stakeholders.
- Producing specifications documents including workflow charts and diagrams.
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures.
- Assist project management work on some of the sub work-streams.
- Work closely with project managers, product manager and business teams.
- Support system testing and drive problem diagnostics.
- Support and coordinate investigation of implementation and live system issues.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- A university graduate with degree in IT, finance or a related discipline.
- 3 years of IT / finance related work experiences. 2 years+ in the BA role.
- Business and technical knowledge on banking system would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with the HSBC standards and processes would be useful.
- Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English as well as good command of Mandarin is required for this role.
