We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Hong Kong Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable Java and Spring Boot services for Personal Internet Banking applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical solution designs and high-quality software.
• Build and maintain application programming interfaces and backend integrations, including integration with Adobe Experience Manager.
• Develop automated tests, perform code reviews and apply secure coding and engineering quality practices.
• Use Git and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to build, test and release changes safely.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, testing and operations colleagues to deliver solutions and resolve dependencies.
• Participate in production support rotations, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement lasting fixes.
• Improve system reliability, maintainability and team delivery practices through technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on software development capability using Java and Spring Boot.
• Practical knowledge of microservice design, application programming interfaces and backend system integration.
• Experience integrating backend services with Adobe Experience Manager or similar enterprise content platforms.
• Proficiency with Git and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Ability to write maintainable code and automated tests, conduct effective code reviews and apply secure coding principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose production issues and identify root causes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, English-speaking working environment.
• A degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
