We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

1. Provide consultancy on functional, application programming interface and end-to-end testing for the Client Digital Profile service.

2. Translate business requirements and use cases into functional, non-functional and regression test scenarios.

3. Work with business analysts, developers and test engineers to clarify requirements, investigate defects and support issue resolution.

4. Contribute to test strategy, test estimation, test data preparation and automated test solution design.

5. Plan and execute testing across direct-channel onboarding, customer profile services, Host-to-Host processing, File Upload and Connected Banking journeys.

6. Ensure test deliverables, test phases and test cycles are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.

7. Conduct test result walkthroughs, provide clear testing updates to stakeholders and highlight project risks or issues.

8. Capture defects, support root-cause analysis and contribute to corrective action plans and lessons learned for future projects.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test planning and test execution.

2. Experience in functional, application programming interface, automation and performance testing.

3. Ability to analyse business requirements and convert them into clear and comprehensive test scenarios.

4. Experience preparing test data and validating data quality for testing purposes.

5. Knowledge of regression testing, end-to-end testing, defect management and test reporting.

6. Experience working collaboratively with business analysts, developers, test leads and wider project teams.

7. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with testing tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Tosca, Postman, Jira and relevant programming languages.

8. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.

What additional skills will be good to have?

1. Experience testing digital onboarding, customer profile management or banking channel services.

2. Familiarity with Host-to-Host processing, File Upload, Connected Banking or Treasury application programming interface services.

3. Experience testing payment, trade, account or customer servicing journeys.

4. Knowledge of Agile delivery practices and Behaviour-Driven Development.

5. Experience supporting production validation testing and production issue investigation.

6. Ability to contribute to automated testing frameworks and improve test coverage.

7. Familiarity with service integration testing, data validation and failure-impact analysis.
