We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
Test strategy & planning
- Define and maintain the test strategy, approach, scope, entry/exit criteria, and test deliverables across initiatives/releases.
- Build and manage test plans aligned to sprint/release milestones, dependencies, and integration points.
- Ensure appropriate coverage across functional, integration, regression, UAT support, and non-functional testing (as applicable).
Test execution & quality governance
- Lead day-to-day test execution, triage, and defect management; ensure clear severity definitions and timely resolution.
- Drive risk-based testing and ensure traceability from requirements/user stories to test cases and outcomes.
- Provide clear quality sign-off recommendations for releases, supported by evidence and metrics.
Automation & continuous improvement
- Partner with engineers and testers to increase test automation coverage and reduce cycle time
- Improve testing efficiency through reusable assets, better data management, and streamlined environments.
Stakeholder & dependency management
- Coordinate testing across distributed teams, tech/business stakeholders
- Communicate test status, risks, and mitigation plans to Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Operations, and Risk/Compliance stakeholders.
- Support UAT planning and execution with business users, including readiness, defect triage, and go/no-go inputs.
Requirements
Experience
- Solid experience as a Test Lead / QA Lead in technology delivery, ideally within banking/financial services.
- Experience testing digital channels, APIs, integration flows, and data-driven systems.
- Wealth/investment product knowledge (e.g., funds, bonds, investment onboarding/servicing) is an advantage.
Testing mastery
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, risk-based testing, and end-to-end test management.
- Proven ability to lead testing under time pressure.
- Experience with non-functional testing (performance, security, resilience) is beneficial.
Tools & ways of working
- Proficient with Jira/Confluence (or similar) for test tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
- Familiar with test management and automation tooling (e.g., Xray/Zephyr, Selenium/Cypress, API testing tools) — tooling can be adapted to the team’s stack.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum delivery with distributed teams across locations/time zones.

- Ownership, resilience, and a practical “get it done” approach while maintaining quality and controls.
- Calm, structured problem-solving—especially when defects, environments, or timelines get spicy.
