Principal responsibilities

• Provide IT project delivery, and assist project manager on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release and so on.
• Lead or assist teammate to provide business & technical solution fit for business need.
• Accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.• Liaise with other teams, include architects, business stakeholders and so on to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.
• Conduct end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation.
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
• Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years rich hands-on experience in development
• Eexperience of delivering high quality and complex system solutions• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent technical skills in Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Familiar with Linux and Shell script
• Knowledge and experience with Distributed systems, Micro-service architecture and APIs
• Knowledge and experience with relational database
• Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation and toolings, etc)
• Able to work in Agile working model
• Strong passion for technology and engineering
