We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Software Engineering Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Features Delivery & execution:Translate business requirements into delivery plans (scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing). Drive Agile process and ensure predictable delivery.
  • Stakeholder management: Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly to business, product, architecture, security, and operations; manage expectations and scope changes.
  • Risk, controls & compliance:Ensure adherence to change management, auditability, access controls, and security requirements; proactively identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks.
  • Operational stability:Partner with Production Support Team/SRE to improve observability, incident response, RCA, and resilience (NFRs such as performance, availability, DR).
  • People development:Coach team members, support hiring/interviews, provide feedback, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture across locations.

 

Requirements

Technical & engineering fundamentals

  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile(Scrum/Kanban), estimation, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Working knowledge of modern engineering practices: code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, version control (e.g., Git).

Delivery / programme management (ITPM)

  • Strong capability in planning and governance: milestones, dependency management, change control.
  • Risk management: identify, quantify impact, define mitigations, and escalate appropriately.
  • Stakeholder management: clear communication with product, engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders.

Controls, security & operational mindset

  • Understanding of change/release controls, auditability, access management, and secure delivery basics.
  • Familiarity with incident management and post-incident RCA/action tracking.

People & communication

  • Coaching/mentoring mindset; ability to influence without authority in matrix organisations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
