Principal responsibilities
- Act as the IT System Owner for key business and financial systems, including Dual Recording System, River App (mobile app), Fund Trading System, Broker Core System, Website, and other financial platforms.
- Serve as the IT Project Manager, providing day-to-day support, maintenance, new feature delivery, and process management for business entities.
- Manage and coordinate technology implementations across IT project deliveries through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with mandatory IT service processes, including change management, incident management, infrastructure provisioning (on-premises and cloud), logging & monitoring, identity management, SDLC & deployment, and handling ad-hoc requests.
- Take responsibility for internal and external documentation and filing related to core business and critical systems.
- Lead documentation preparation and control remediation during and after external/internal IT audits, continuously enhancing the compliance and security of IT systems and processes.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including performance management, coaching, development, and resource planning.
- Foster a high-performance culture, encourage professional growth, and ensure effective team collaboration and communication.
- Act as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT system delivery and project management, with deep expertise in fund sales and finance operation systems.
- Proven experience in people management, including team leadership, performance management, and talent development.
- Strong understanding of IT processes, including change management, incident management, infrastructure provisioning (on-premises/cloud), logging & monitoring, identity management, and system deployment.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory filing requirements for core business and IT systems (e.g., ICP, EDI, China Cyber Bureau, MPLS); experience with financial regulatory reporting (e.g., EAST/EAST2) is preferred.
- Extensive experience with both external and internal IT audits for critical business and finance systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of cross-functional team collaboration and stakeholder management.
