We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities

Cloud, DevOps, and automation

  • Design and operate resilient, compliant multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP and Alibaba Cloud.
  • Containerize and deploy services on Kubernetes; design Helm charts and GitOps workflows.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deploy, and rollback.
  • Set up observability (logging, metrics, tracing), autoscaling, and cost optimization.

Full-stack application development

  • Develop backend services in Python, Java or Go.
  • Build secure, scalable microservices and event-driven components; integrate with internal and third-party systems.
  • Implement frontend/admin tooling for configuration, monitoring, and governance of AI prompt systems.

AI/LLM experience

  • AI search and retrieval: semantic/vector search, hybrid search, and ranking.
  • LLMs and prompt engineering/orchestration using LangChain or similar.
  • RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Open-source LLMs and serving stacks (e.g., Llama, Mistral, Qwen; vLLM, TGI, Ollama) alongside hosted services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Bedrock).
  • Agent frameworks and tool-use (agentic workflows)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java.
  • Proven experience in AI and machine learning, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) technologies, including LangChain.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining data privacy and security standards.
