We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

 

Business: CTO Data Technology

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust ETL workflows and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across batch and streaming processes.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver project-specific data engineering solutions aligned with requirements.
  • Support integration of diverse data sources (APIs, databases, flat files) into centralized data systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data workflows for reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to automation efforts to reduce manual interventions in operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, scientists, and software engineers.
  • Continuously build technical expertise in cloud and big data tools under mentorship from senior engineers. and cybersecurity.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience, including at least 1 year designing and managing solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and related technologies.
  • Experience with ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, or Scala).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and continuous integration/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Understanding of event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, positive, passionate, and willing to continue learning.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
