We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

Principal responsibilities

Establish Engineering Practices:

• Define and implement engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Governance and Compliance:

• Oversee adherence to established engineering practices and governance frameworks.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide hands-on guidance and support to engineering teams in the use of Google Cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and coach team members in application architecture, data management, and AI technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on engineering practices and objectives.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams to promote best practices.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the engineering practice.
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies, including the use of DORA metrics to assess performance.

Performance Metrics:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including DORA metrics, to measure the effectiveness of engineering practices.
• Report on progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on engineering practices and governance.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience in application architecture and data management.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in banking or financial services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
