Job description

This is an analytical role focusing on data manipulation, analysis and interpretation and providing input into programme renewal terms and account performance. The roleholder will work on all lines of business written by the Captive, including Employee Benefits and Property and Casualty risks.
In this role, you will:
- Support the underwriting of new and renewal business, including collation of submissions, preparation of underwriting analyses, and maintenance of a clear and defensible audit trail for all underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with fronting insurers, internal stakeholders, and advisors to support annual renewals
- Process and analyse large data sets consisting typically of insurance premium and loss data to support internal performance reporting and rating decisions
- Develop and maintain Employee Benefits management information, performance dashboards, and renewal reports
- Review and endorse bordereaux submitted by fronting insurers, ensuring correct data is processed and reflected in internal systems
- Develop and implement data controls to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of key data
- Ensure renewal processes are well controlled including execution of formal policy contracts
Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders across seniorities and geographies
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience of Python and R advantageous
- Experience in insurance is desirable
