Marketing Coordinators will be in the HSBC Marketing function in BAU (Business As Usual) roles and may sit in various teams such as campaigns, social/digital, and marketing operations. Marketing Coordinators report to the Marketing Manager and support Marketing Managers and Digital Project Managers in delivering marketing activity at pace. This role has no direct reports.

 

As our Marketing Coordinator you will: 

  • Support external marketing campaigns, insight and research activities aligned to the Marketing strategy; assist with measurement and Return On Investment reporting
  • Provide support to the marketing team to deliver campaign plans, events and communications
  • Support Social Media Manager; with content creation, calendar management and reporting
  • Maintain marketing procedures, playbooks and delivery standards, including third-party vendor management
  • Manage the administration for external service providers and agencies to deliver marketing initiatives, including onboarding suppliers, maintaining required documentation, and performance updates and compliance checks
  • Conduct research and maintain up to date marketing information and resources
  • Contribute to the annual marketing planning cycle
  • Ensure the activities adhere to HSBC Marketing brand strategies

You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • A Marketing Degree (or equivalent) is preferred
  • Experience in delivering marketing campaigns and activity
  • Strong project planning skills, with the ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; with confidence in engaging with senior colleagues
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • A proactive and well-organized approach with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
