Here at HSBC, we use our unique expertise, capabilities, breadth, and perspectives to open up new kinds of opportunity for our more than 40 million customers. We’re bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world – for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities, and the planet we all share
This role checks and validates the opening of new products for new or existing customers—from initial instruction (via any channel) through to set-up—making sure HSBC complies with relevant regulations and internal policies. The position sits in HBBM’s Entity Chief Control Office and works closely with customer-facing channels and back-office teams, interacting with clients when necessary to achieve outcomes—while aiming to minimise customer impact and maintain a strong customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform CDD/KYC onboarding and remediation checks in line with policies and regulatory requirements
- Gather, review, and analyse customer documentation; update systems and complete admin tasks

- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or similar)
- Banking/financial institution experience
- Experience in regulatory-related account opening / due diligence; understanding of KYC
