Join HSBC Global Payments Solutions (GPS) as an Associate Project Manager, within our Client Connectivity team. At HSBC, our GPS Client Connectivity team are dedicated to enhancing client experiences and driving growth through seamlessly onboarding our cutting-edge Global Payments and Liquidity Solutions.

 

The role of Associate Project Manager in Client Connectivity is key to shaping global and local client relationships by managing multiple payments and liquidity projects to successful completion. You’ll be at the forefront of onboarding clients onto HSBC’s channels and solutions, ensuring seamless transitions, driving satisfaction, and supporting excellence.

 

Roles responsibilities

 

  • Manage multiple client integration intermediate level projects to on-board clients to HSBC Digital Channels (HSBCnet, Treasury API, H2H and SwiftNet)
  • Proactively identify and highlight technical blockers that may affect a successful implementation to maintain a best-in-class client experience
  • Support proactive project management methodologies and organizational designs to assist in managing multiple client projects effectively for our diverse client base
  • Coordinate Product and Channel fulfilment by ensuring that products and services are delivered in accordance with the scope outlined in the Statement of Work.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions, under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager
  • Own client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond on simple NTB projects. Assist in client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond on complex NTB projects
  • Provide timely updates to the Project team and deal initiator on the status of all activities, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the process and verifying project set up ahead of providing confirmation.
  • Complete necessary internal forms related to fulfilment processes, including billing documents, accurately and promptly
  • Own E2E management of fulfilment requests with downstream operations teams via relevant mechanisms such as Clientsphere, email or another workflow tool specified by the project team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our Net Promoter Score, providing valuable feedback
  • Maintain a balanced approach to work and life, even when under pressure

 

Desired experience

 

  • An understanding of the various industry formats (including ISO20022), testing processes and methodologies is desirable
  • Experience of building effective client relationships and stakeholder management
  • Ability to own end to end project management on simple NTB projects
  • Proficiency in payments and liquidity product knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation creation and validation processes
  • Previous exposure to project management tasks or relevant qualifications is a plus
  • Strong organizational stills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively in real-time
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business level Japanese language skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
