Role Purpose
The role of Technology Development Manager is responsible for working across the Credit Card Technology delivery life cycle including inception, construction, test, release and ongoing management of a product or service in a pod within the Credit Card Technology team. They will be required to continually enhance their skills within a number of specialisms which included front end, development, security, testing, and operational support.
Job Contents
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Provide support across the end-to-end program/ project delivery and lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out credit card system development requests, testing and operational support activities with the ability to support business users according to requirement demand
- End-to-end accountability for a credit card product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey
- Liaise with other members among IT, business stakeholders and vendors to understand and drive the credit card product or services’ direction
- Provide support in all stages of a credit card product or service release/change with a strong customer focus and end-to-end journeys
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the credit card system solutions delivered
Qualifications
- University or above graduated
- With years of experiences in financial institution area.
- The job holder must use the credit card system and business knowledge to provide an efficient and comprehensive level of support. The role should ensure that the business requirements are correctly captured and understood by the vendor or delivery teams to enable them to deliver the system solution with a high degree of quality.
- Exposure to customer experience, usability, channels related exposures, with knowledge on corresponding systems and related system life cycle knowledge and understanding.
- It will be added advantage if that person has exposure to some of the regulatory and compliance aspects of credit card systems, validation rules during capture and delivery.
- The job holder should demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, learning abilities, team skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong people relationship and management skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin/Chinese
