Job Summary

Job content:

    1. Investment process and CIO House View implementation (Taiwan onshore)
      • Develop and implement Taiwan onshore investment strategies, asset allocation guidance (SAA/TAA) and thematic ideas across asset classes for Private Banking and Premier Wealth clients.
      • Contribute to the global/regional investment process to formulate value-adding portfolio strategies and commercially viable High Conviction Themes (aligned to the CIO House View).
      • Drive the local CIO-led end-to-end process via a Taiwan investment committee, ensuring consistent implementation across advisory and portfolio construction.
      • Deliver frontline training on SAA/TAA, Core–Satellite framework and Portfolio Based Approach to strengthen investment advisory quality and consistency (“One Voice”).
      • Contribute to the delivery of the Sustainable Investment Strategy, including sustainability-related themes and ESG investment initiatives.
    2. Multi-asset product fulfilment and cross-asset collaboration
      • Drive cross-asset collaboration with Wealth Product teams to steer onshore product fulfilment planning and tactical investment idea generation in support of investment revenue growth.
      • Identify best-in-class investment products to implement multi-asset allocation, investment themes and other tactical ideas for Taiwan onshore clients.
      • Monitor investment performance of products used for asset allocation, themes and tactical ideas on both a standalone and portfolio basis; recommend adjustments where needed.
      • Work closely with fund house partners and capital markets vendors to develop fit-for-purpose onshore solutions that implement CIO House View and High Conviction Themes
    3. Content creation and distribution (Mandarin & English)
      • Lead onshore investment content creation by leveraging Global/Asia CIO content and Global Investment Research to develop value-adding market analysis and investment narratives tailored to Taiwan client needs.
      • Contribute local market insights into CIO publications (e.g., Daily/Weekly/Monthly Investment Insights, Quarterly Investment Outlook, Market Updates and High Conviction Themes materials).
      • Develop client-friendly, professional CIO materials and business-enabling narratives to enhance client experience, market High Conviction Themes and boost sales effectiveness.
      • Provide Mandarin and English materials and training to enable holistic end-to-end client servicing for both Premier and Private Banking.
      • Partner with relevant digital/content teams to enhance distribution via approved digital interfaces and platforms.
    4. Internal and external marketing / client engagement
      • Communicate CIO House View and High Conviction Themes effectively through onshore investment outlook events, client events, UHNW roundtables, collaboration events and 1:1 client meetings.
      • Provide bespoke CIO advisory to UHNW/Family Office clients on asset allocation, portfolio strategy and market analysis.
      • Build thought leadership and a visible public profile through proactive external marketing and media communication (subject to governance/approvals).
      • Support Net New Money generation and new client acquisition through participation in client pitches, prospecting events and key client meetings.
      • Drive internal marketing via weekly investment and/or morning meeting processes to ensure effective delivery of CIO views and product fulfilment plans to frontline colleagues.
      • Ensure consistent “One Voice” communication and implementation of CIO House View across the end-to-end investment and advisory process.

 

Skills Requirement

  • Significant experience in portfolio strategy, investment research, asset allocation and product selection within wealth management/private banking (depth commensurate with CIO seniority).
  • Strong cross-asset market knowledge and ability to translate macro/thematic views into actionable portfolio guidance and implementable ideas.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work with diverse teams and drive cross-boundary collaboration.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills with the ability to simplify complex market topics into compelling client narratives.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • University degree in a relevant discipline; CFA or related professional qualifications are strongly preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong quantitative skills; familiarity with data/analytics and technology-enabled workflows (AI skills a plus, aligned to maintaining macro/market applications).
