Wealth Product Solution is one of the key focus of the wider International Wealth and Premier Banking(IWPB) business and all wealth products play an important role in thriving the business performance as well as fulfilling our diverse and strong customer needs. The Wealth Product Solution team manages all lines of products ranging from Insurance to Investment products including protection, investment linked plans, saving products, mutual funds, Derivatives, Bonds, FX, and Equities. Compliance and Control function within the Wealth Product Solution team is responsible of designing process, building up control mechanism based on the internal and external guidelines and regulations, facilitating the business to run in a smooth but risk-conscious fashion, and maintaining the process and control activities to ensure they continue to fit for purpose. The job holder will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders within the Bank and its counterparts within HSBC Group to set up and implement sales and control mechanisms of various wealth management products and services, and support the business on the growth agenda in a safe and sound environment.

  • Key responsibilities:
    1. Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.  Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with stakeholders and Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators
    2. Act as the direct contact of the frontline sales and work with product manager and upstream provider closely until customer needs are fulfilled, which include to answer the frontline queries, provide general supports to frontline, product manager and operation team, deliver customer documents, etc in order to complete customer’s needs fulfillment on wealth solutions
    3. Deliver quality execution in a timely manner when working with all stakeholders collaboratively, including  to provide accurate, valid and complete information, timely completion of data input, maintain/ keep records of transaction fulfillment precisely, assist with order placement on-time, follow up with the frontline issues before deadline

 

<Experience/Skills>

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Relevant work experience in the financial service industry or in the financial service industry
  • National License is preferred including Life insurance Agent or Non-Life Insurance Agent (國家考試: 人身保險代理人or 財產保險代理人)
  • Proficiency in database management is preferred, ex. specific experience in SAS, MS Access, and VBA development
  • In-depth knowledge in Taiwan’s investment and insurance regulatory changes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Able to identify various risks in real world scenarios and complete preliminary analysis as required
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
