<Role Purpose>

This role serves as a strategic partner to Relationship Managers (RMs), assisting in driving business growth and building relationships by identifying and meeting customer needs.

The ARM plays a critical role in business enablement by driving the execution of complex deals/transactions, conducting market theme analysis, developing high-impact presentation decks, and identifying product and service opportunities that highlight HSBC’s ability to deliver incremental value. Alongside driving business strategy and managing team administration tasks, this role involves executing financial/credit analysis and collaborating closely with product partners to ensure seamless client experiences and optimize operational efficiency.

<Job Content>

  1. Strategic Support & Team administration: Provide comprehensive in-house support to RMs, including the development of business strategy presentation decks, pitch materials, and the execution of essential team administration tasks.
  2. Complex Deal Execution & Value Creation: Assist RMs in the structuring and end-to-end execution of complex transactions. Conduct market theme analysis and customer research to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive incremental business contribution.
  3. Credit & Financial Analysis: Facilitate credit applications, including the write-up of industry analysis, financial analysis, peer comparisons and credit risk mitigations with high quality outputs.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Risk Management: Co-work effectively with product teams and support functions. Safeguard HSBC from potential financial/non-financial loss through robust risk escalation management and proactive risk mitigation.

<Qualifications>

  1. Bachelor degree or above, majoring in business related preferred
  2. With strong expertise and solid knowledge in corporate Banking or interacting with clients
  3. Fluent in English and Chinese
  4. GAPD Covered worker
