<Role Purpose>

The Relationship Manager (“RM”) acts as the primary strategic advisor and focal point for a portfolio of high-value GNB clients. This role is pivotal in originating and executing complex transactions, driving cross-border and cross-border steams, and leading deal teams to deliver comprehensive HSBC solutions for the best outcome to clients. We are seeking a seasoned banker with a proven track record to drive proactive pipeline origination, maintain rigorous credit stewardship, and strict adherence to all risk and compliance standards.

  1. Business Growth Momentum & Seamless Execution: Manage and grow a highly complex GNB Taiwan portfolio. Drive seamless client coverage to secure and expand our share of wallet and maintain ongoing C-Suite engagement to sustain a strong competitive advantage in the market.
  2. Cross-Franchise Value Creation: Independently drive strategic dialogue and originate cross-product solutions. Leverage HSBC’s extensive cross-border capabilities to deliver strong incremental value to clients and achieve ambitious business growth objectives.
  3. Complex Deal Origination & Pipeline Management: Actively originate, structure, and execute complex transactions. Lead cross-functional deal teams and utilize your established market networks to proactively build a solid t pipeline tailored for our high-value portfolios.
  4. Risk & Credit Stewardship: Navigate complex credit structures and lead high-level deal negotiations. Ensure robust risk mitigation and credit management.
  5. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment: Uphold strict adherence to all internal policies, external regulatory requirements, ensuring sustainable business practices and safeguarding the bank from potential financial and non-financial risks.

<Qualifications>

  1. Bachelor degree or above, majoring in business related preferred
  2. At least 5 years with strong expertise and solid knowledge in corporate Banking or interacting with clients
  3. Fluent in English and Chinese
  4. GAPD Covered worker
