We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President, Capital Markets and Advisory.

 

Investment Banking coverage for Philippine corporate and institutional clients.

 

  • Identify opportunities and prospective clients to strengthen the Capital Markets and Advisory franchise.
  • Originate and execute “event driven” capital raising and advisory transactions for Corporate and Institutional Banking clients.
  • Build a deep understanding of clients’ needs and operating environment; maintain close dialogue with key stakeholders; and deliver innovative and holistic solutions across product lines to generate sustainable returns for the Group.
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients by maintaining meaningful long-term relationship with key client decision makers.

  • Build and enhance HSBC’s Capital Markets and Advisory franchise, strenghtening our market profile and reputation.
  • Deepen client relationships and grow the Bank’s share of wallets through high-quality origination and execution.

 

Customers / Stakeholders

 

  • Develop and maintain ‘trusted advisor’ access with key decision makers across assigned clients and priority prospects.
  • Work proactively with Product Partners in the region and globally to deliver the right solutions for clients

 

Leadership & Teamwork

 

  • Help foster a professional, proactive, and performance-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with sector and advisory teams on transactions, ensuring that deals are completed effectively and on time.

 

Operational Effectiveness, Risk Management & Control

 

  • Operate in full compliance with Group policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks appropriately, acting with integrity and putting HSBC’s reputation first.

 

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

 

  • Strong ability to engage clients in strategic dialogue.
  • Solid industry awareness, with the ability to interpret trends, market signals, policy and regulatory developments, and their impact on business.
  • Knowledge of HSBC’s capabilities and products with an established internal network across business lines.
  • Demonstrated track record of originating and executing event-driven capital markets and advisory transactions.
  • Commitment to excellence and high performance standards.

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band level than stated above.
